Chinese-built caravans are already under-cutting homegrown offerings by a decent margin, but now some of Australia's biggest RV importers are turning up the heat, with plenty of eye-catching deals currently on offer across showroom stock as well as on new orders.
Big-selling brands including Austrack, Snowy River, MDC, EzyTrail and Stoney Creek are all running enticing promotional offers and nationwide sales, as they battle for buyers in a depressed market...

Fresh from acquiring fast-growing imported brand X Series RV, Austrack Campers is currently running a major clearance sale, with discounts of up to $10,000 across a limited range of dealer stock.
Some of the best deals listed on the website are on ex-demo stock, including slashing $15,000 off the price of a Gibb 16B family off-road hybrid (down to $69,990), and $15,990 off a Talawana X13 Low Hybrid off-roader fitted with Redarc gear (now $50K)

Market Direct Campers is also having a big showroom stock clearance, with lots of deals available across MDC outlets in Queensland, Victoria, NSW and Western Australia.
If you don't mind an unused (2024 plate) model, MDC's Victorian showrooms have an XT16HR (full height off road, three berth 'van with east-west bed) for $69,990, a reduction of $15,000 on the normal RRP price.

With the introduction of a new 48V MK4 range, MDC is also running out all remaining MkIII XT hybrids, as part of its 'MKIII Madness' sale, with around 10 different models currently listed for sale, many reduced by $5000.
You can also grab a $10,000 saving across a range of models in MDC's new Gold Class caravan range at the moment; available at GC dealers around the country.

Snowy recently announced its new 'factory outlet' in Traralgon, Victoria, or you can head online where there are currently 22 heavily discounted 'vans available, including a tidy SRC20 touring model reduced by around $11K, down to $60,590 towaway.
There's also a couple of big SR22 Club luxury touring 'vans available at Queensland dealers, reduced by $5000 down to $69,990. A pretty good deal if you're in the market, although they miss out on some of the latest Series 2 updates.
