Jayco is adding another bigger, internal shower/toilet version to its new CrossTrak off-road hybrid camper model range.
Following the release of the smaller non-ensuite 13ft CrossTrak earlier this year, the new 16ft (body length) CrossTrak will be available in both couple and family bunk layouts, with the couples' layout featuring a double bed and four person cafe dinette/lounge, as well as a sink with tap and a combination shower/toilet at the rear.
Like the two 13ft versions, the 16ft family bunk CrossTrak offers outside showering only, with a drop-down tent shower on the outside wall.
According to Jayco, the new larger CrossTrak models offer more internal space than the 13ft versions, as well as a a bigger outside camp kitchen including more cabinet/bench space and a rangehood, along with a sink, gas cooktop and slide-out fridge.
Jayco hasn’t released equipment or weight specifications including Tare and ATM, but said the new CrossTraks will both come with a 570kg payload.
Available from Jayco dealerships from November, the new 16ft Jayco CrossTrak models will be priced around $4000-$6000 more than the the 13ft versions: from $42,990 for the couples version, with the bunk bed family model starting from $40,990.
The new 16ft CrossTrak will be one of four new Jayco models unveiled at the Melbourne Leisurefest show at Sandown Racecourse (October 3-6). The other new Jayco models on display will include a new entry-level Lark wind-up camper trailer from $19,990, a new entry-level Renault Master-based campervan from $79,990, and a sharply priced new 19ft Starcraft caravan from $46,490.
