Australia’s Greatest Job is not over yet.
Jayco has extended the contract of its "official RV correspondents" for another year, after professional content creators Hannah Maclennan and Sam Bailey generated 20 million plus combined social media video views during their first 12 months on the road in a Jayco motorhome.
The young creatives were originally selected from hundreds of applicants nationwide as the winners of Jayco’s Greatest Job in the World campaign and, so far, they've travelled more than 22,000 kilometres, visited five states and territories, stayed at 83 caravan parks and campsites and created 250 pieces of content.

Jayco's National Head of Sales and Marketing, Scott Jones, said the photogenic duo's journey had captured the way many Aussies now want to travel: shorter, more spontaneous trips, in light of higher fuel prices and cost of living pressures.
“Hannah and Sam have brought that lifestyle to life over the past year," Jones said.
"They have shown that an incredible adventure does not always require a long-haul flight, months of planning or being stuck on a boat.
"Sometimes it can be found a few hours from home, in a regional town or at a caravan park you have never visited before.”

The couple so far has spent 283 nights in the 8.0m long Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based Destiny model, which is valued at around $180,000, and are using multiple cameras including a drone to record their travel highlights.
They reckon their favourite destination so far has been Far North Queensland, while their most unexpected stop-off was in South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.

The lucky couple said they didn't have to think long before accepting the contract extension.
“It's been life-changing, so when we got the call asking if we wanted to go again, we immediately said yes,” they said.
“It was such an easy decision because we've completely fallen in love with this lifestyle and weren't ready for it to end”.

For those with itchy feet but in two minds, the couple have some simple advice: "Go for it, you won't regret it".
“There's something really special about waking up somewhere new every few days while still having your own home with you. There's also an incredible community of people who share the same passion for life on the road, and once you experience it for yourself, it's easy to understand why so many people never want to stop travelling”.

The plan over the next 12 months is to complete the full lap of Australia including ticking off a few more bucket-list destinations like the Red Centre, the Great Ocean Road in Victoria and Tasmania. Follow the journey on Facebook or Instagram @jaycoaustralia.
