Melbourne's Snowy River is making a big splash at this year's Melbourne Leisurefest which runs October 3-6 at Sandown Racecourse.
As well as the first public showing of its latest SRP Pop Top range, the big-selling Melbourne RV brand is showing off its customisation skills with a unique 22ft slider bro-van.
Based on Snowy's 22ft SRC slide-out touring model and developed in conjunction with Queensland's Showtime group, the unique 'Showtime Edition Van-Cave' gets a racey mint-coloured vinyl body wrap, black alloys with mud tyres and glossy black painted gas bottles on the outside, together with a large onside locker with powered door that lifts up to reveal a big-screen TV.
Next to that is another smaller locker with a beer tap, hooked up to a 19 litre keg (there's another beer dispenser and keg inside). Externally, the Van-Cave also gets a powered awning and pull-out kitchen.
The internal layout includes 'his and his' twin single beds up front, with another large TV viewing area in the centre, including two swish 'Gold Class' recliners with leather upholstery, power adjustment and in-built heating and cooling, occupying the slide-out. The second beer tap is within arm's reach from the lounge chairs, as is a large fridge freezer, with a separate shower and toilet located in the rear bathroom.
The eye-catching interior colour scheme matches the outside, including black walls and ceiling, mint leather upholstery and overhead cupboards, and a 'Meander and Wild' linen package.
Believe it or not, the 'Showtime Edition' van is available for sale at around $175,000, or buyers can order their own version of Snowy River's first custom-built creation.
As well as turning heads at caravan shows, the van is on display at Supercar Championship races where it matches the livery of the team that Snowy River sponsors.
