•19 June 2026Most caravan companies will tell you they build quality. Cadillac RV would rather show you. Since launching its first production van in 2024, the Melbourne-based manufacturer has put more than 1000 caravans on roads across Australia and New Zealand, opened dealerships in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and New Zealand, and built a waiting list that most established brands would envy.
Now the company is preparing to launch its most ambitious model to date: the 2026 Cadillac RV 240 CADFl, a front-loader toy hauler that makes its public debut at the National Outdoor Living and Caravan Expo from July 17-19, 2026. It is the kind of van that tends to stop people mid-aisle.

The story of Cadillac RV begins not with a manufacturing plant, but with a community.
Founder Dustin Brown, known to most as Dusty, spent more than a decade dealing in used caravans across Australia and New Zealand, moving up to 200 vans a year and building relationships with buyers who kept coming back. Over time, those buyers started asking the same question: when are you going to build something new?
For Dusty and his wife Melissa, who co-founded the business, the answer took time to get right. They wanted to build caravans the way buyers had been asking for years: Australian-made, honestly priced, with construction methods that reflected how the vehicles would actually be used. When production finally began in 2024, the demand was already there.
“For founders Melissa and Dusty, caravan travel isn’t just business – it’s a way of life,” the company says. That ethos shows up in the details: practical layouts, interiors designed around real trips, and a build process that involves multiple quality checks at every stage, including a water-leak test on every completed van before it leaves the factory.

Cadillac RV caravans are built from the ground up in Melbourne, Victoria, with a larger showroom site opening shortly in nearby Somerton. The chassis are fabricated from pre-galvanised 450-grade Australian steel by local suppliers including ARV Chassis, Silvershine Chassis, and Outback Chassis. Frames are available in both timber and aluminium, with full aluminium frames and composite panel builds across the range for buyers seeking the lighter option.
Every van features one-piece honeycomb waterproof flooring, a one-piece fibreglass roof, and aluminium composite exterior cladding. Cabinetry and furniture are precision-cut in-house. Customisation is available across the range, and buyers can work directly with the team on layouts and finishes. It is a level of flexibility that large-volume manufacturers rarely offer.

The 2026 Cadillac RV 240 CADFl is named for a milestone: it marks the 1000th Cadillac RV built. Inspired by aerospace engineering principles, the 24-foot front-loader toy hauler is designed for families and adventurers who need serious space for serious gear, whether that’s motorbikes, e-bikes, or camping equipment that won’t fit anywhere else.
Standard specification is substantial. Every CADFl leaves the factory with a Victron Energy MultiPlus 3000-watt inverter, a Victron DC-to-DC 50-amp charger with 65-amp Smart Battery Protect, and 1000 watts of solar across four 250-watt Arizon panels managed by two Smart Solar Controller MPPT 100/50 units. Arizon 460Ah of combined lithium batteries store the power. Climate control comes via a GREE 3.5kW inverter air conditioner and heater, and the exterior uses ProBond aluminium composite panels with Milenco dust reduction and a powered antenna.
The featured launch build goes well beyond standard. Upgrades include a 24-volt Victron system with 5000-watt inverter, Hella Marine lighting fitted throughout and underneath the van, a fan-forced electric fireplace, a colour-changing ensuite sink, and what Cadillac RV claims is a first in any Australian production caravan: an electrostatic shower screen that switches from clear to frosted at the press of a button.
On the Go RV Accessories collaborated with Cadillac RV on the external fit-out, producing a custom BBQ, an outside induction cooktop, multiple slide-outs, custom bamboo cutting boards, and a dedicated slide-out bar complete with a Ninja Slushie machine. The interior upholstery was handled by RV Upholstery, with a custom two-tone design throughout.

Beyond the CADFl, Cadillac RV offers a full range of family and couples caravans, including models like the Gaia, Ourea, Zeus, Hermes, Eros, and Artemis. Dealerships are now open in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and New Zealand, with Western Australia coming soon. The company also operates directly from its Epping, Victoria showroom.
