An electrifying new 24ft off-grid family hauler will be one of the stars of the show at the inaugural National Outdoor Living & Caravan Expo in Melbourne this month.
Fledgling Melbourne manufacturer Cadillac RV is unveiling its new range-topping 240 CADFL; a monster six figure priced, off-grid luxury caravan which comes dripping with features including a front-load garage area and under-bed mounted, fan-forced electric fireplace.

Cadillac has also fitted everything from custom bamboo cutting boards to a dedicated slide-out bar complete with Ninja Slushie machine, on the outside of its new CADFL show-topper.
The three-day National Outdoor Living & Caravan Expo is the latest offering for RV buyers from GTR Events, and will see the first caravans and motorhomes on display at Caulfield Racecourse since 2014.
GTR Events says there will be more than 150 brands on display, ranging from big sellers like main sponsor Avan/Golf, to smaller players like BRS OffRoad and Prattline.

Showgoers will be able to browse a wide range of imported (Dream Journey RV) and locally built (Dreamhaven) caravans, plus there will be a few motorhome brands like Frontline, Interstate and new player LDV.
Not just Melbourne-based brands either, with Queensland's Bushtracker and Zone RV and South Australia's Offline, making the trip over for the new event.
Rebranded Queensland company Bruder is not currently listed as an exhibitor, meaning Melbourne buyers might have to wait a bit longer before they can get a good look at Bruder's latest range of Melbourne-built ADX full-size composite caravans, including the original ADX-21 and new ADX-18 that's due out in August.

Other free show attractions will include a "loaded indoor accessories pavilion and Award RV accessory hub", education sessions, live demonstrations and kids' activities.
