After three months on the road and raising close to $100,000 for charity, the three winning families of this year's Dometic Follow the Sun competition will celebrate with a big party on October 31 at Victoria’s Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park.
Free to the public, the special event will mark the final stop for the Dometic brand ambassadors, who set off in August on a 13-week expenses paid trip down the east coast of Australia, raising funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The Dometic Follow the Sun Grand Finale Party will run from 5-10pm, with several raffles and prize draws taking place throughout the evening including a pink Waeco 68 litre icebox valued at $339, a $2000 prize pack including products from Hema, Eco Pot, and Rapala, and a big Dometic prize pack valued at $4500.
Dometic Follow the Sun merchandise including Waeco iceboxes, can coolers, bumper stickers, aprons and bucket hats will also be on sale, and entertainment will be provided by country singer Tania Kernaghan, jazz band Briefcase Full of Blues and a fireworks display.
Dometic Follow the Sun Ambassadors Kate ‘AdventureMumma’ Richards and her family, ‘My Aussie Travel Guide’ Grant and Linda, and the ‘On the Road Again’ McKay family will also talk about their experiences on the road.
