A tougher-looking new version of Winnebago Australia’s first rough-road caravan, will break cover at this week’s Queensland Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow.
A white and red Winnebago Burke caravan with X-Country pack and 'Big W' logo was displayed earlier this year at the Melbourne Caravan Supershow, but a new, more striking black and white X-Country van, featuring more black exterior highlights and a smaller, less prominent ‘W’ logo at the front and sides, will be displayed at the Winnebago stand at this year's show. The X-Country off-road pack is available on both Burke and Mossman Winnebago caravan models for an additional $5500, and includes AL-KO Enduro Cross Country independent trailing arm suspension with single shocks, an Al-Ko off-road tow hitch and handbrake, five 16in alloy wheels with 245/75R16 mud/snow-rated light truck tyres, a spare wheel carrier, 1000W inverter and special ‘X-Country’ decal set in red or black. “The addition of the X-Country caravan pack marks the first Winnebago Caravan designed for rugged Australian terrain with AL-KO Enduro independent suspension, an off-road tow hitch and an array of additional upgrades,” Jessica Adams from Winnebago Australia distributor Apollo, said.
“The X-Country pack is available now across the full Winnebago caravan range, allowing customers to take their Winnebago caravan further than ever before.”
Winnebago Australia will also have three of its latest four-berth motorhomess on display at the Brisbane show, all built on Iveco Daily chassis, including the Coogee model with queen bed slide-out, a Kirra with dropdown rear bed layout and a Jervis model with unusual, twin single bed layout.
Drive-away pricing for the 7.9m long motorhomes is in the $140,00-$155,000 bracket.
