Enter Ian and Shirley Salway. Ian was a professional truck driver, now in semi-retirement, and the couple live in Nowra on the south coast of NSW. Nowra is about two hours south of Sydney and a similar distance east of Canberra.

Ian and Shirley are keen outback travellers, which includes doing some serious off-road work and working for a camper touring company. They have owned various RVs including a slide-on for their stretched Toyota LandCruiser, and their current Evernew caravan.

In his semi-retirement Ian decided he could offer a service to the RV industry by setting up a storage shed. It's been designed to give easy parking and it faces the right way to give maximum protection from the weather. For manoeuvring caravans, camper trailers and even boat trailers,

Ian owns a forklift that has been modified with very short forks and offset towballs on either side to give clear visibility.

Ian offers a cleaning and washing service, too - he's installed 31,000L of water storage and a water pump. Also available is basic servicing, and Ian will take your caravan for a registration check if needed.

Nowra might seem quite a distance from both Sydney and Canberra, but there are plenty of places to take your caravan or camper on the south coast of NSW. For a quick weekend trip, Ian will have your caravan washed, tyres checked and fridge on, ready for a Friday night departure. That not only saves time but also associated towing costs. Arrangements can also be made for Ian to deliver your caravan or camper to your choice of holiday site and collect it at the end of the holiday.
