It may have fizzed out a couple of years ago in Queensland, but the RV-themed rock 'n roll festival called Van Jam is back in 2025 at a new venue.
As part of the 'off-site' entertainment at this year's Border Caravan & Camping Leisurefest show in Wodonga, Victoria (April 4-6), a Van Jam Victoria 'after party' will take place from 4pm-9pm on April 5 in the centre of the Wodonga Racecourse, where the caravan show is also taking place.
Headline act is 2024 Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright, with country singers Tania Kernaghan and Jason Owen joining other local artists for a night of live music under the stars.
An adult entry ticket costs $30 (children are $2) which includes complimentary food and drinks, while show organiser Caravan Industry Victoria is donating $5000 from proceeds to the Riverina-based charity Country Hope.
The CIV said more than 700 caravans and RVs will be on display at the three-day Border Leisurefest show which runs 9am-4pm daily and will also include RV Master Stage information sessions and a Kids Zone.
One lucky show-goer will also tow away a free caravan, with the major prize in the Passport to Freedom Competition a 14ft Jayco Crosstrak valued at $59,000.

Entry tickets to the caravan show cost $15 for adults and $12 concession. Full details at the Border Leisurefest website.
