
Aluminium-framed large caravan specialist Vacationer rolled out its latest Hybrid two-berth, hard-wall camper at the 2023 Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow.
Advertised at the Supershow with a $46,900 pricetag, the Melbourne-made, compact pod-style camper is purpose-built for the rough stuff with a Cruisemaster DO-35 coupling and XT trailing arm suspension, reinforced A-frame, 16in alloy wheels and 10in brakes, along with black checker plate protection along the lower body sides.

Construction-wise, the Hybrid boasts a fibreglass roof and an insulated aluminium composite body, with aluminium wall framing and double-glazed windows.
While compact in size, there are a few large-caravan features fitted included a drop-down picnic table and front ‘tunnel boot’ toolbox with slide-out, along with a custom roof rack and a both a free-standing and shower awning.
A lift-up rear tailgate provides access to the external kitchen recess which includes a sink with flick mixer tap, two-burner gas cootkop and an 85L fridge, with another external storage locker located along the offside wall.

Two side entry doors provide access to the snug interior which features an LED roof hatch, pillowtop mattress, storage cupboards, 12V fans and reading lights.
Off-grid camping is made easier with a single 100Ah lithium battery system with 200W solar panel, as well as a 9kg gas bottle, 95L fresh and 95L grey water tanks, an external shower, gas bayonet and audio system.
Vacationer also displayed at the Supershow its latest top-spec 48V off-grid Dakar large off-road caravan, among other 2023-model vans.
