Unbreakable drinkware gets award

Palm Products' stylish range of plastic drinkware has been recognised for good design

Palm Products’ fancy new range of unbreakable drinkware has been awarded a Good Design Award by the Australian International Design Awards’ judges.

Launched in 2012, Palm Products collaborated with acclaimed and influential designer Marc Newson to produce a range of polycarbonate, unbreakable drinkware that is claimed to set new standards in design, functionality and quality.

The range is now in the running to become a coveted category winner to be announced at the 2013 Australian International Design Awards Presentation Ceremony on May 30 in Sydney.

The Palm drinkware was the only product in the ‘Sport and Leisure’ category to achieve the Good Design accolade. Other RV-related nominees in the 2013 Awards included Black Widow’s Easy Slide 4x4 fridge slide, and Redarc’s in-vehicle battery charger.

Based in Melbourne, Palm Products designs, manufactures and markets high quality injection moulded components, and is believed to be the largest supplier of unbreakable drinkware to the Australian retail market.
