Tvan celebrates 20 years

Track Trailer is celebrating 20 years of its unique Tvan camper trailer with two limited edition anniversary models – the Inspire, priced from $61,150 (Vic delivered) and the more comprehensively-equipped $76,720 Zenith – both based on current Tvan Mk 5 models.

As with the two previous limited edition Tvans iterations, both offer a value package, incorporating items that are optional, or standard, on higher-grade Tvan models, with some new features making their debut on the Zenith.

The Inspire, with its Genesis Blue metallic highlights, echoes the simplicity of the first Tvan Mk I that was launched in 1999, with its descendants being the recipient of multiple magazine awards since, but adds a few modern touches.

Starting with the current entry-model Tvan Mk 5 Yulara, the Inspire gets a solar upgrade to a 120W rooftop panel, a battery managed by a 21 Amp charger and four USB sockets.

It also gets the Tvan’s roof storage system and inner wall storage pockets, a three-speed 12v fan, a Quick Cover Swing out awning, twin Chrome Proquip 20L jerry cans, a full front boot equipped with two sealed lockers (one incorporating a sliding fridge drawer), with these items offering a combined saving of $1900 off the RRP of a similarly-equipped Yulara.

Starting with a higher specification Tvan Canning, the Zenith is packaged with diesel hot water and heating, a water system outlet for pressurised water, two additional tent windows and a vent under the bed, an ensuite tent, twin Chrome Proquip 20L jerry cans, alloy wheels upgraded to 17x8in, a 1.8 tonne suspension upgrade including 12in electric drum brakes and bump stops to suit 33in diameter tyres, underbody protection mudflaps, a RHS slide-out tray with tie-down points and a front boot pantry long slide.

Packaged in the Zenith, these items represent a saving of $2900 off the RRP of a similarly-equipped current Canning.

In addition, both 'Tvan20' models feature Track’s new Glacier White gloss exterior panels, with matching fibreglass and a new limited-edition highlight colour palette.

Each Tvan also features Track’s customised 20th Anniversary branding, while the Quick Cover awning that's standard with these models has its storage bag finished in Future Black.

However, any ‘built to order’ Tvan can have its highlight colours changed free of charge to any of Track’s 10 standard colours (except Murranji Orange). Additionally, there are two new and exclusive metallic special edition colours for the 20th Anniversary models: Gold Medal or Hyper Red.

Alongside the two 20th Anniversary models, Track has also introduced a newly integrated RedVision option available on any Tvan, that in conjunction with the Redarc Manager 30, effectively replaces all the switches, gauges and power controllers with a simple, state of the art display and mobile app.

With this system, all switching of circuits, lights, power outlets, heaters etc. can be easily controlled from a smartphone at camp or in bed. This is 21st century camping!
