New instant hot water system for caravans and motorhomesAlso
breaking new ground for the Dometic Group (but not for the Australian RV industry) is the release of a new instant hot water heater for caravans and motorhomes.
With a water carrying capacity of 1.3 litres and overall weight of 15.5kg, the new Truma Aquago is significantly lighter than most 23 litre caravan ‘boiler’ heaters.
Dometic says the unit uses “hybrid technology with patent pending temperature stabiliser” to deliver a constant flow of water at 49 degrees, six seconds after turning it on.
Built-in safety features include an over temperature shut down, flame monitoring device and low voltage sensor, while maintenance is made easier by a semi-automated decalcification feature and an ‘easy-drain lever’ for ‘no tools’ draining. Pricing starts at RRP $2349.
