Trailer Valet

Manual mover takes the hard work out of hitching up or moving your caravan

A manually-operated mover designed to take the back strain out of moving a small caravan or camper short distances, is now available in Australia.

The American-designed Trailer Valet attaches to the A-frame and is designed for trailers up to 2200kg with a ball weight up to 220kg.

It’s relatively simple to use once bolted on; just lift the brake, crank the handle and steer in the direction you want to go.

The patented drive system has high and low drive gears to cope with varying terrain. It's also a jockey wheel replacement, and can be rotated out of the way on the mount for travel or removed completely.

Spare mounting plates are available so the unit can be used on more than one vehicle.

The Trailer Valet weighs 20.5kg, rides on two, 9in pneumatic tyres and is made from steel with a powder-coated hammer finish.

Priced at $549, it’s available online from Camecand should be rolled out soon to RV accessory retailers.
