Conqueror Australia already sells some of the toughest campers available Down Under, so it’s good to hear that the off-road specialist will be launching another, even more capable, all-terrain trailer at this year’s Brisbane 4x4 Show in April. Even better news though, is that you could win one!
Visitors to Queensland's largest 4x4 show will have the chance to win a brand new, UEV-330 camper trailer valued at $45,000, which Dan Bosschieter from Conqueror Australia says is "aimed at the guys who want to experience the extreme types of off-road".
Bosschieter said the new compact model will be very similar in style to the existing UEV-390 (pictured) but 60cm shorter in overall length. Like all Conqueror models the South-African designed UEV-390 is loaded with desirable features from a hot dipped galvanised chassis and fully independant trailing arm suspension tuned for Aussie conditions, to a king sized bed and slide-out, L-shaped kitchen "fit for Jamie Oliver".
Full details on the new UEV-330 will be released at the show. Bosschieter also said the company will be launching another, lower-end budget model later in the year, so stay tuned.
The National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo also incorporates the Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show, and for boat enthusiasts a ‘tinnie’ package valued at $10,000 will also be up for grabs.
As well as displaying the latest 4WD accessories, camping and outdoors equipment, and fishing and boating products, the three-day event should provide plenty of entertainment to keep the family happy.
Guest speakers will include Simon from 4WD TV, Danny from Your 4x4, ‘Spida’ Everett from The Great Australian Doorstep, and Matt Watson from the Ultimate Fishing Show.
Amongst other highlights, visitors will be able to pick up some camping and cooking tips over the week-end from the Waeco Outback Stage, witness some offroad antics at the 4WD Action Arena, and hook a virtual fish at the ‘Sports Fishing Stimulator’.
The National 4x4 Show and Outdoors Expo and Brisbane Tinnie and Tackle Show is at the RNA Showgrounds in Fortitude Valley on April 8-10. Entry is $12 adults, $10 concession, with children under 15 free when accompanied by an adult.
