Top-notch Aussie campers up for grabs

Plenty of opportunities right now to win a premium, locally-built camper

Owning a premium Australian-built camper trailer or hybrid camper is a pipe dream for many Aussie outdoor adventurers, with the cost of building a quality, durable product by local workers putting them out of reach financially for many people.

However, cash-strapped punters dreaming about heading into the wilderness with their very own homegrown camper could be in luck with a number of Aussie-built camper trailers currently up for grabs in various competitions and promotions.

AOR Sierra worth more than $30,000 up for grabs

This includes one of the latest, Sierra ZR hardcore off-road mini-campers from Queensland’s AOR, which is being raffled by Queensland-based youth support charity Teens Take Control.

The draw takes place on December 23, with a prize value of $33,000, including registration and delivery. The competition is open to NSW and Queensland residents, with 9000 tickets available priced from $20 for a single ticket.

X3 family model one of a few Patriot campers being given away

A number of premium-price models from Queensland’s Patriot Campers are also up for grabs in different promotions.

Brake specialist Protex is giving away a Patriot X1 lightweight bush camper. All you have to do is purchase a Protex rotor or brake pad before January 8 to be in the running to win one of the hardcore X1 tent trailers valued at more than $50,000.

One of the last Jayco JTRAK campers is also up for grabs

Jeep is also giving away one of the latest Patriot X3 family campers valued at more than $70,000. Entry to the draw is via the purchase of at least $100 worth of Jeep genuine accessories, or getting your car serviced at Jeep dealer.

Basically, the more you spend at the dealer, the more entries you get into the draw, with the promotion running until February 28.

One lucky essential worker will win a holiday in an Avida motorhome

Meanwhile, online caravan mag GoRV is giving away a Jayco JTrak tent trailer, valued at just under $20,000. With Jayco recently pulling the pin on the Chinese/Australian built JTrak, it could be one of the last of the Jayco-badged forward-fold campers, which were introduced to the market in 2018.

If you're seeking something a bit bigger, Crusader Caravans through the Lifechanger Foundation is giving away a Melbourne-built Crusader Lifechanger Experience caravan valued at more than $56,000. Entries close on November 30.

Finally, while they're not giving one away, Sydney motorhome manufacturer Avida is part of a just-launched 'Bonafied Legends' promotion, where a nominated 'essential worker' will be rewarded with a 10 day motorhome holiday valued at more than $7000.
