Queensland-based The Thirsty Nomad says its high-tech water purification system for recreational vehicles “is a new and revolutionary inline caravan water treatment system that offers caravanners not only water filtration but water purification, killing 99.9999% of harmful waterborne bacteria and viruses instantly”.
“Using quantum physics to destroy pathogens upon contact, this is the first time caravanners have been offered a chemical-free, power-free means of water purification,” Thirsty Nomad founder, Tory Shenstone said.
Shenstone claims the advanced water filtration system is superior to many other filters available “including low-tech, simple, over-priced, loose granular-activated carbon filters that cannot offer water disinfection performance. Additionally they get quickly clogged when used with Australia’s bore water”.
“Our team of qualified water scientists could see that caravanners, such as retirees with compromised immune systems and young families, were being left vulnerable to harmful pathogens in water, by filters that only did half the job,” she said.
Designed to meet Australian Drinking Water Standards for E-Coli elimination, the Thirsty Nomad filtration system is designed to destroy bacteria and viruses at the molecular level.
“By using nanoparticles to create a dense electron exchange, a powerful catalyst is created, proven to destroy 99.9999% of bacteria and viruses within 0.1 of a second,” she said.
“Water simply has to pass over the Quantum Disinfection™ ceramics and the microorganisms are instantly killed. Quantum Disinfection™ is backed by 13 independent global laboratories, including Eurofins, IAMPO, EPA (USA) and is exclusive to the Thirsty Nomad in Australia.
