Topping its extensive range of ice keepers and cool boxes, the new Signature Series esky from Techniice is the result of three years' design and development and according to the Melbourne-based company is, “designed to outperform virtually every other ice box of similar size in the world”.
Designed for outstanding ice-keeping ability as well as structural strength, the Techniice Signature Series features 7cm walls injected with high density multi compound PU insulation – thicker than many other polyethylene as well as fibreglass ice boxes.
A dual airlock seal system, incorporating commercial grade, fully moulded and integrated hinges, ensures airtight sealing at most ambient temperatures.
Coloured white for better heat reflection than darker eskies, the Signature Series also features four sturdy feet to encourage air circulation around the unit and prevent heat build-up when sitting on scorching hot ute trays or other baked surfaces.
Other practical additions include a big 50mm diameter bung for quick emptying of water or even ice chunks after use, heavy duty dual handles and tie down points, and a fish ruler on the lid.
The Signature Series will initially be available in a 60 litre version priced at $199. All future models will be fitted with baskets and dividers.
Techniice also recently introduced an affordable new range of camping gear to complement its existing range of dry ice packs and cool boxes. The Jungle Reef range includes swags (from $199), self-inflating mattresses (from $59), and sleeping bags (from $49), as well as toolboxes, ratchets and fishing rod holders.
