More than 70,000 people are expected over nine days of this year’s NSW Caravan, Camping & Holiday Supershow, which kicks off later this week at Rosehill Racecourse in Parramatta.
One of Australia’s biggest and best run RV shows, the Sydney Supershow is open from April 9-17 and will feature more than 300 exhibitors showcasing the latest caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, accessories and associated services. A number of new model releases are expected at the Supershow, including revamped ranges from the likes of Cub Campers, Conqueror and Johnno’s.
All up there will be 30 camper brands on display, along with a dozen campervan and motorhome brands with big displays expected from top-selling Jayco, Avan and Avida.
More than 50 caravan brands will be represented, from a range of Australian, Asian, British and European manufacturers, along with thousands of the latest caravan and camping accessories.
This year’s Supershow will continue the ‘Happy Hour’ theme introduced last year, with a new XXXX Gold Beer Garden joining the popular Champagne Bar with live jazz music.
Kids’ entertainment will include face painting, jumping castles, movie screenings and live appearances of Alvin and the Chipmunks.
Free daily seminars for the adults include presentations on towing, first aid and 4WD touring, while $30,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs in the Passport Competition, including a Jayco Swift Outback camper trailer.
Showgoers can download a show app to their smart phone, by texting ‘Supershow” to 0400 813 813, which allows them to buy tickets, see a list of exhibitors, view maps and other show information.
Getting to the show is also made easier with free onsite parking and free shuttle buses from Parramatta station and Parramatta wharf.
Daily tickets are $25 (or $22.50 online), with concession prices at $20 and children under 16 free when accompanied by an adult.
