Sydney Caravan Expo on again
More attractions at this month's Sydney Caravan Expo at the Sydney Olympic ParkSydney Olympic Park will again play host this month to a caravan show, when the second Sydney Caravan Camping Outdoor Lifestyle Expo kicks off on September 20.
Running for four days, the annual show will feature more than 150 exhibitors, displaying thousands of RV and camping products and accessories.
The show’s organizer, the Caravan & Camping Industry Association (CCIA) NSW, said the 2018 Expo will offer more attractions than last year's, including a new Land Lease living space, featuring a factory built modular home; a new boating and fishing zone, and an outdoor gear and accessories zone called The Marketplace.
The all-weather venue will also house daily celebrity appearances and demonstrations, including Better Homes and Gardens presenters Fast Ed and Graham Ross, and fishing expert Rhys Creed.
Expo visitors will also have the chance to win $10,000 cash by entering the free Passport Competition.
The dog-friendly event will also include the RSCPA Doggy Rest Stop, where visitors can get a free pet check and receive tips on how to look after their fur baby when travelling.
Free children’s activities include face painting, a jumping castle, mini-driving cars, Teacup ride, and indoor rock wall, while ‘big’ kids can enjoy a gravity-defying ride on the Land Rover Twin Terrapod Track.
CCIA NSW CEO, Lyndel Gray, said the displays will span the full, road trip holiday experience, covering caravans and campers, boating and fishing, and various holiday parks and destinations around NSW.
“We are thrilled to be bringing the Expo back for its second year,” Gray said. “We’ve pulled out all the stops this year and it’s even bigger and better than ever. Everything you’ll ever need to enjoy the great outdoors can be found here in the one location.”
