Jayco has released an updated version of its budget-priced camper trailer, aimed at those with smaller tow vehicles.
Available in on- and off-road versions, the new Swift camper has similar dimensions to Jayco's previous entry-level Flite camper, albeit with a slightly larger, 135cm wide front bed.
Capable of accommodating up to five people, the Swift features two pull-out double beds, a four-person dinette, and a compact kitchen with full-height sink, two-burner cooktop, and a Dometic 90-litre three-way fridge.
Designed to fit in small garages and be towed by medium-sized sedans, the on-road Swift has a 788kg Tare and towball weight of 68kg. The body is 2.6m long, opening up to 4.5m overall, while travel height when folded is 1.475m.
Like other Jayco campers, the Swift features a galvanised 'Endurance Chassis', and an aluminium frame with vacuum bonded fibreglass walls which Jayco claims are "virtually hail and dent resistant".
The compact, value-for-money camper, also features personalised front and rear mouldings, eye catching graphics and comes with a range tent colours.
It's priced from $15,490 (excluding dealer and on-road costs), and comes with three year Roadside Assistance and 12 month manufacturer's warranty.
"At Jayco, we strive to make caravanning holidays accessible to everyone regardless of what type of car they drive," said Jayco Marketing Director Andrew Ryan.
