More than 300 Sunseeker caravan owners braved fierce storms and torrential rain to help sick children through their attendance at Sunseeker’s annual Owner’s Rally at Habitat Noosa Everglades Ecocamp in Queensland.
A total of $11,547 was raised in an auction held at the rally for the Starlight Children’s Foundation – a charity that brightens the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
The auction took place during a fierce thunderstorm on the first night of the rally, with Sunseeker owners bidding on 26 items ranging from generators to day-tours – all donated by Sunseeker suppliers and other local Caloundra businesses.

Following the rally, the State Partnership Manager of Starlight Foundation Australia, Tracey Tomlin, visited Sunseeker to accept a cheque representing the auction’s proceeds.
She said the money raised will help brighten nearly the experiences of 200 sick kids in hospital, or grant two once-in-a-lifetime wishes.
Sunseeker Caravans’ is a Caloundra-based family business that is in the process of moving to a new, much larger local site in neighbouring Warana. At nearly double the size of Sunseeker’s current dealership in Caloundra, the new facility will allow up to 60 Sunseeker, Marvel and used caravans to be displayed, while also offering an improved servicing facilities for owners.
