Not to be outdone by crosstown rival Kedron, Caboolture -based Sunland has taken the wraps off yet another Queensland-built, quarter-million dollar caravan.
The specialist off-road builder is known for producing caravans that cater to their customers' every whim, and the striking new Sunland Phoenix Federation is no different; featuring twin slide outs, two-tone leather upholstery and a massive island kitchen bench, among many other outstanding features.
Designed for long-term living, the tandem axle van is fitted with auto-levelling airbag suspension, along with a 400ah lithium battery system fed by 800W of solar power.
The four tonne-plus Phoenix Federation rides on an aluminium/steel chassis, with an aluminum frame and fibreglass exterior cladding.
Apart from an island kitchen bench with double sink, upmarket ensuite and main bedroom with north-south queen bed, the floorplan incorporates a built-in office, that converts to double bunks as required.
A large external locker provides access to a mini washing machine and large screen TV - one of five TVs in total, not to mention the huge 258L dual compressor fridge and latest combination gas/induction cooktop.
There are plenty of bespoke luxury touches, including eye-catching brown and orange Italian leather upholstery for the electric reclining lounge and café dinette, and some bold blue interior mood lighting to complement the glimmering blue glass bowl basin in the bathroom.
Sunland’s Sales Manager Tarrot Wyss described the custom-built van, which reportedly sold for more than $250,000, as “an amazing example of what we here at Sunland Caravans can create”.
The custom built Sunland Federation is the latest $200,000-plus caravan to be sold in Australia this year, following Kedron’s show-stopping 26ft triple axle TopEnder and the jaw-dropping 36ft Emerald Coast fifth-wheel caravan.
