AFL footy star Patrick Dangerfield and UFC cage-fighting champ, Alex Volkanovski, are the latest 'vanbassadors' to join Melbourne's Lotus Caravans' celebrity promotional team.
The high-profile elite Aussie athletes will be the latest influencers to spruik the Lotus off-road caravanning lifestyle, following in the tyre tracks of Hollywood heart-throb Zac Efron and renowned landscape and nature photographer Sean Scott.
Fresh from a memorable Grand Final win with the Geelong Football Club, it's believed Dangerfield has already picked up his Lotus caravan of choice: a circa $150,000 20ft 9in Lotus Trooper off-road family van, complete with luxury interior fit-out including triple bunks.
The current world champion in the Featherweight division, competing in the brutal Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), Volkanovski is regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound mixed martial arts fighters on the planet.
He's also a keen outdoorsman and cook, starring in his own Youtube series called 'Cooking with Volk'.
The NSW born mixed martial artist's custom-built 23ft 3in Trooper off-road family van is currently being built at Lotus' Melbourne factory, where strong demand for the eye-catching range of off-grid vans has pushed waiting times out to around 18 months.
A Brownlow medallist as well as premiership player, Dangerfield is also no stranger to the outdoor recreational lifestyle, having starred in his own on-the-road 'reality' TV show.
