Luxury off-road caravan manufacturer Spinifex has thrown the options list at its top-spec Epix caravan to deliver a new, range-topping model priced as high as $156,000.
Based on the already well-equipped Epix, the new Epix Premier includes many desirable options as standard equipment, delivering a similar specification to the optioned-up 20ft Epix caravan reviewed recently by CaravanCampingsales. The standard Epix starts at $106,500, whereas the new Epix Premier kicks off at $135,500 for the 18ft (body length) version, rising to $156,000 for the biggest 26ft model. Twelve layouts including two with bunk beds are available.
Some of the many extras fitted as standard equipment include an upgraded battery system with four 150W solar panels and three 100Ah lithium batteries, bigger 32in TV and upgraded Fusion stereo, a satellite/VAST TV system and Next 4G aerial, GPS tracker, additional 80 litre grey water tank, external shower and a toilet fitted with a SOG 12V vent system.
The Epix Premier also comes standard with Cruisemaster air bag suspension and 12in electric hydraulic disc brakes.
“The Epix Premier has everything you’ll ever need for an epic off-road adventure” Spinifex boss Steve Thompson said on the company’s website. “If you ask me which of our vans is my pick – it’s this one. This is the van I’d take off-road, this is the one that makes an off-road caravan trip more like a luxury home trip. It’s seriously loaded and this van makes me proud of our achievements over the years.”
However, there’s still opportunity to adds thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars to the Epix Premier’s price tag with a range of options including bush scrub bars, electric entry step, aluminium A-frame toolbox, external locker with 32 litre fridge, tripod satellite system, and an additional lithium battery.
To cope with the extra weight, the Queensland manufacturer also offers an ATM upgrade from the standard 3500kg to as high as 4400kg with the airbag suspension fitted.
