Melbourne's New Age Caravans has ripped the covers off a new Limited Edition Walkinshaw version of its 12ft Wayfinder family camper trailer.
Priced at $57,990 and fitted with the electric roof raiser released in late-2021, New Age said it had "listened to customer feedback on the previous model and introduced design changes as per market demand" when coming up with the specification of its new top-spec camper trailer.
"Along with eye-catching new livery, the Limited Edition Walkinshaw Camper options include independent Cruisemaster XT suspension, 16-inch wheels, 200W solar, hot water service and external shower, as well as a host of off-grid options available for a limited time," the Walkinshaw-owned manufacturer said.
With a slide-out queen bed at each end, along with a central kitchen and twin dinette/lounge areas, the Walkinshaw Camper is set up for comfy family off-road camping and also comes standard with two 9kg gas bottles, twin 80L water tanks, a gas bayonet and mains pressure inlet, roll-out awning, 100Ah lithium battery, a picnic table and external speakers, an internal gas cooktop and 105L fridge, 28in TV and antenna, microwave, leatherette upholstery and a floor-mounted air conditioner.
Making it further suited to all-terrain travel, the Walkinshaw Camper also gets a Cruisemaster D0-35 coupling, 12in drum brakes and BMPRO sway control fitted to its galvanised chassis.
Tare weight for the New Age W12LTD Camper is listed at 1560kg, with an ATM of 1960kg and tow ball mass of 160kg.
It's believed production of the Walkinshaw Camper will be limited to 50 units, with display models currently at Melbourne and Perth dealerhsips.
Meanwhile, New Age has revamped its website which includes details of the latest styling and equipment updates for its 2023 range of caravan models.
