Another month, another Coromal caravan given away…
At least it seems that way with the West Australian manufacturer recently handing over the keys to a new Element caravan that was the major prize at last month’s Let’s Go South Australian Caravan Show.
It came just weeks after Coromal gave away another Element van at the Victorian Caravan Supershow, which to our counting makes around half a dozen vans that Perth-based Fleetwood RV has given away (or will be giving away) in recent times.
The ceremony took place at Coromal’s Adelaide dealer Camperagent, with dealer principal John Munro recalling the winning couple, Nigel and Lynette Elliot, as “pretty excited… they have an older used caravan which they were thinking of doing up but now they’ve won a new one they don’t have to worry about that”. Drawn from around 4500 entries in the Adelaide show’s ‘Passport Competition’, the winners had the choice of a Coromal Element or Windsor Seka pop-top. Part of Coromal’s entry-level caravan range, the 18ft 4in (5.5m) Element E553S is valued at $55,000 and features a queen bed, fully-equipped kitchen, L-shaped dinette and rear ensuite with separate shower and toilet.
Also in attendance at the official ceremony was SA Caravan and Camping Industries Association CEO David Duncan and Fleetwood RV’s National Business Development Manager, Anthony Sherry.
“We would like to pass on our gratitude and appreciation to Fleetwood RV – Coromal /Windsor for their generosity of supplying the caravan and to John and all his staff at Camperagent for their wonderful friendly service,” Nigel said.
Coromal has a long history of giving away caravans in competitions, and will be giving away another tandem axle, 20ft Element 612S caravan valued at close to $60,000 later in the year to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary.
