UK motorhome importer Elite RV is bringing in a new range of Auto-Trail luxury campervans to go with its existing range of imported motorhomes from the same British brand.
Priced from $182,990 drive-away, the two new Auto-Trail Expedition campervans are based on the latest Fiat Ducato high-roof vans, with a different engine tune depending on the variant.

The entry-level 5.99m long Expedition 66 is powered by the 140hp 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine, while the slightly longer 6.35m Expedition 68 XL variant gets the 180hp version. Both run an eight-speed auto transmission.
The more powerful Expedition 68XL will work better as a family runaround with two extra passenger seats and a table up front. It's also aimed at those who want to carry a couple of bicycles inside the vehicle, with a purpose-built rear 'garage' including a twin-bike slide-out located underneath the raised bed at the rear.

You also won't be fluffing around making the bed up every night with the pricier ($189,990 drive-away) Expedition 68XL. It features a permanent rear king bed or twin single beds, whereas the Expedition 66 gets a club lounge-style, twin bench seat and dinette configuration up back, that converts to twin singles or a king bed at night.
Otherwise, both Auto-Trail campervans come pretty well equipped with swivel front seats, a combination shower/toilet, rooftop air-conditioning and ducted heating, and a kitchenette with sink and mixer tap, twin-burner cooker, microwave, extendable worktop and 90L or 130L fridge-freezer.
The Expedition 68XL also gets an oven and grille as standard.
Both offer a 510kg payload, with a basic battery system including up to 200W rooftop solar and a water heater and tanks, also part of the package.

The Fiat Ducato base vehicles also come loaded up with the Advanced Driver Safety Pack including adaptive cruise, advanced emergency braking and lane support, along with other technology like Apple CarPlay and DAB radio.
"Amongst many innovative features these campers come with Auto-Trail's signature Grade 3 insulation and soundproofing, offering unmatched climate control and noise reduction in a campervan," Elite RV CEO Darren Nye said.
The Auto-Trail campervans are factory-backed by a 10-year body construction integrity warranty, plus a five-year/300,000km warranty and three-year roadside assist from Fiat Australia.
You can check out the new campervans for sale on caravancampingsales, or see them in person at one of Elite RV's two Australian outlets in Victoria and Queensland.
