Big-selling RV brand Snowy River has released its smallest and most affordable towable model to date.

Priced from $32,990 drive-away, the new 9ft (body length) SRS-9 compact hard-wall camper is being marketed on the Snowy River website as a "mini caravan expertly designed for mid-range SUV owners".
It's built with fibreglass and checker plate cladding and basic touring suspension and is designed for caravan parks and bitumen travel. The new entry-level model hits the scales from 1173kg (Tare), with an ATM of 1600kg. Travel height is 2.38m and travel width, 2.135m.

Standard features for the compact two-berth SRS-9 include a north-south double bed, internal seating and inside-outside storage, a roof hatch, picnic table, 70 litre fridge, instant hot water, a 100Ah lithium battery system with Projecta manager and 200W rooftop solar, 24in TV, microwave, external slide-out kitchen, an outside shower and shower tent, 120L water tank, 9kg gas bottle, internal/external lighting, a water gauge and a 270 degree awning.
Options include an inverter and awning walls.

Snowy River says the SRS-9 comes with a few extra design features you won't find on similar-style pod campers from OurGen and Jayco, including fold-up seating, a multi-use bench/desk arrangement, and a sliding fly screen and service hatch at the rear.
The sharply-priced new SRS pod camper boosts Snowy River's local range to seven models, including on- and off-road caravans, pop-tops, hybrids and campervans.
