Snowy River races into Tasmania

Big-selling caravan brand sponsors major motorsport event and opens new dealership on Apple Isle

Fast-growing RV brand Snowy River Caravans has extended its involvement with Australia's premier motor racing category, by becoming the official naming rights partner of the upcoming Tasmania Super 440, to be held at Symmons Plains Raceway near Launceston on May 9-11.

Snowy River already has a big presence at Supercars Championship races around the country, including bold signage on the Blanchard Racing Team/James Courtney Mustang which is currently sitting 16th on the drivers' championship table after two events in the 2025 season.

As a further push into the Tasmanian market, Snowy River Caravans also recently opened a new dealership in Launceston; its first in Tasmania and the eighth Snowy River-branded retail and service outlet in Australia.

“We’ve long been supporters of the Supercars, particularly through our brand ambassador James Courtney and our partnership with the Blanchard Racing Team (BRT)," said Snowy River Caravans CEO Andrew Crank.

"Becoming the naming rights sponsor of the Tasmania Super 440 event is a natural next step for Snowy River Caravans, and it’s a perfect fit for our brand and the community we serve."
