Snowy River expands 2024 range

New Luxury Series tourers, Country Pack rough-roaders and a family pop-top from big-selling imported caravan brand

Snowy River is boosting its caravan range for 2024, including adding new 'Country Pack' rough road models, a new SRP pop-top, and glossy new 'Luxury Series' touring models.

Unveiled at the 2024 Victorian Caravan & Camping Supershow, the new range of stylish SRL tandem-axle full composite vans are based on the Regent Cruiser and Discoverer vans available since 2021, and were displayed with both new 'Luxury Series' decals as well as the traditional Regent Caravans 'Monarch' emblem.

Like all Snowy River composite vans, the latest Luxury Series models are largely built in China and come sharply priced, with a well equipped 21ft Snowy River Luxury Series SRL210 couple's van on display at the show, optioned up with a grey water tank and Raptor side protection, priced at $79,030 tow-away.

Both the Snowy River and Regent Caravan brands are owned by the Chinese Daide Group, which took over production of Regent Caravans in 2014 before launching Snowy River Caravans in Australia a couple of years later.

Snowy River also displayed a number of new SRC Country Pack models which could be classified as having a 'semi off-road' specification, and will sit between the entry-level SRC Touring and SRT Multi Terrain models in Snowy's full size caravan range.

Boasting an extended A-frame with checker plate toolbox, coil independent suspension, Cruisemaster DO-35 coupling, and twin 120Ah AGM batteries with 400W rooftop solar plus 190L fresh/100L grey water tanks, a 22ft SRC22F CP display van optioned up with leather upholstery had show pricing of $83,990 tow-away.

Meanwhile, Snowy River is also getting closer to full production of its first pop-top caravan range, with a tough looking, dark grey SRP19F family ensuite, pre-production pop-top van also on display at the Supershow, complete with double bed, kitchen, twin bunks, dinette, and separate shower, toilet and washing machine, priced at $61,990.

Snowy River was asking for 'expressions of interest' at the show, with final production versions of the new SRP pop-tops expected to roll out of the Snowy River final assembly plant in Somerton, Victoria around mid-2024.
