Smaller 19ft Bruder full-size caravan arrives
New rock-hopping ADX-18 'expedition' caravan hits the show circuit this week, priced from $179,990Bruder RV has released pricing and details of its eagerly-awaited ADX-18 'expedition' caravan, which will make its public debut later this week at the 2026 Melbourne Leisurefest.
Joining the ADX-21 in its new range of full-size ADX off-road composite caravans, the 19ft tandem axle ADX-18 is available in both couple and family ensuite layouts; both with Bruder's trademark dual side and external wet room entry doors, along with the sealed chassis, long-travel off-road suspension including eight tuned remote-canister shocks and hydraulic disc brakes fitted to its most hardcore expedition trailers.
Premium pricing
Pricing starts at $179,990 for the entry-level ADX-18 S, rising to $199,990 for the mid-spec ADX-18 X and $229,990 for the top-spec ADX-18 XR.
Base 'S' variants get a 3500kg ATM, 17in/265 wheel/tyre package, wireless airbag control, 300Ah battery/800W solar/3000W inverter off-grid package, wireless camera and Starlink provision, 221L fridge, diesel hot water/space heater, rooftop air conditioner, manual onside awning, 250L fresh/80L grey water, laminate benchtop, portable cooktop, 24in TV, dust suppression system and a cassette toilet.
The mid-spec ADX-18 X adds 18-inch/33 wheels and tyres, a powered onside awning, Stage 1 front toolbox, 600Ah battery/1200W solar/3000W inverter, a solid surface benchtop, microwave, washing machine, and option of a 4500kg ATM.
The range-topping ADX-18 XR comes standard with a 4500kg ATM, while adding a 900Ah battery/1600W solar/3000W inverter, Stage 2 toolbox, an offside powered awning, built-in cooktop, convection microwave, 27in TV, washer/dryer and an anti-theft system with GPS.
Among the many options available are a rear winch, onside slide-out tray, bike rack, and tyre inflation kit.
The road ahead
Bruder X was rebranded to Bruder RV earlier this year, after a change in ownership that saw former New Age Caravans boss Gabby Montagnese, take the reins of the 10-year old Australian expedition trailer specialist.
Bruder RV currently runs production facilities in both Brisbane and Melbourne, with the Epping, Victoria factory rolling out the latest ADX range of fixed height caravans.
Both the ADX-18 and ADX-21 will be on display at this year's Melbourne Caravan & Camping Leisurefest, which runs from October 1-4 at the Sandown Racecourse.
