Queensland expedition vehicle specialist SLRV has launched a new MK4 version of its 'compact' 4x4 truck-based Adventurer hardcore off-road motorhome.
One of SLRV's smaller expedition vehicles, the new Adventurer4 can be built on either the Isuzu NPS 75-45-155 4x4 or Iveco Daily 4x4 platforms, and utilizes SLRV's three point torsion mount chassis. A long list of off-road modifications include super single wheel and tyres, remote reservoir shocks, 280L diesel storage tanks, an alloy roof rack and ladder, and an alloy bull bar with front and rear winches.
Externally, the latest model offers better outside protection thanks to a full length awning, while outdoor cooking is now on a pull-out electric BBQ. There's also more storage space in the bigger rear boot, accessible via a lift-up tailgate.
For the first time SLRV has also squeezed in a north-south queen bed inside the 4.6m long x 2.28m wide internal space. The electric bed drops down over the leather club lounge and tabletop.
The galley kitchen includes a double induction cooktop, large sink with filtered tap, a 210L drawer fridge and freezer, and microwave, while the ensuite now incorporates a separate water-less toilet and large shower cubicle, a powered slide-out vanity and sink, and there's a full length mirror door that opens to provide 'pigeon-hole' access to the driver's cab.
There's plenty of storage including aluminium external lockers, plus internal drawers and cupboards with compression latches, and a large pull-out pantry.
The SLRV Adventurer4 also comes with two powered roof hatches, a diesel hot water and space heater, a rooftop air conditioner, TV antenna and Starlink dish, along with 320L water storage which includes a separate filtered water supply. There's even room for an optional washing machine.
Off-grid power is taken care of with a Mastervolt 24V 460Ah lithium battery system with 1200W rooftop solar and two 3000V inverter/chargers that will run multiple appliances at the same time, plus there's a 2160W alternator and two DC-DC chargers that provide 200A battery charging while on the move.
As far as pricing goes, a full turn-key Adventurer4 motorhome on the Isuzu 4x4 platform starts at around $488,000, or around $539,000 on the Iveco Daily 4x4. Check out the walk-through video above, or visit the SLRV website for further details.
