Visitors to last week's Victorian Caravan Supershow were treated to the first public display of Lifestyle Campers' first tandem-axle, hardtop off-road caravan, the 17ft 2in Iconn XKT.
Sitting on top of Lifestyle's Chinese-built Iconn hybrid range, the new XKT Iconn is a step up from the Queensland-based brand's first full height single axle model, the Iconn E4 XK High Top, released last year.

Priced from $118,950 RRP, the new 2.37m wide x 3.02m high XKT comes loaded up with off-grid gear including a Victron-managed 600Ah lithium battery system with 1320W rooftop solar and 3000VA inverter/charger, plus 280L water capacity including dedicated drinking water and an 80L grey water tank.
Built with a galvanised steel chassis and composite body, it also gets Cruisemaster ATX Stage 3 airbag suspension, plus quite a few appliances including an internal 200L fridge/freezer and 72L external fridge, internal microwave, diesel hot water and space heater, rooftop air conditioner and composting toilet.

The caravan-style interior can be configured in a variety of two- to four-berth layouts; all of which include a double bed, lounge/dinette, kitchenette and shower and toilet.
The XKT on display at the Melbourne Showgrounds was also fitted with the optional 'double door' shower; aimed at beach lovers seeking Bruder-style external as well internal access to the shower cubicle.

The XKT also features one of the biggest outside kitchen areas of any Lifestyle camper (or come to think of it any Aussie-spec 'van!), with a slide-out BBQ and two separate kitchen recesses with hinged lids complete with fridge, sink and shower, and loads of storage and benchspace for food prep and induction cooking.

There's also another big storage hatch on the offside (that's big enough to crawl in and sleep in!) and a big payload to match (around 950kg), based on the advertised 2550kg Tare and 3500kg ATM.
