The administrators of a big Melbourne-based caravan manufacturer and dealership network that recently entered voluntary administration with debts totalling $30 million, are looking for buyers or investors to rescue the 12 year-old business.

Administrators Fabian Micheletto and David Stimpson from SV Partners, said they've launched a sale process for the business and assets of Network RV Pty Ltd, Network Engineering Pty Ltd and Fair Dinkum Caravans Pty Ltd, which includes both caravan and chassis manufacturing facilities as well as retail outlets.

Micheletto said the RV group which builds and sells 'vans under various brand names "represents a strong opportunity for an industry participant or investor".

“This is an opportunity to acquire established and well recognised caravan brands, including Network RV, Victory, Styline and Vancraft, supported by integrated manufacturing and retail operations,” he said.

“The business has a solid platform, including production facilities in Victoria, a national dealership footprint, a
proven history producing over 5000 caravans in the last five years and a strong forward order book.”

Strong early interest

Micheletto said there's a good chance they'll attract a buyer.

“We are currently undertaking a targeted marketing campaign and have received strong early interest from key industry participants. We are confident a going concern sale can be achieved, ensuring continuity of supply to dealers and minimal disruption to customers."

He attributed Network RV group's collapse to "challenging market conditions" and "internal operational challenges".

“The decline in demand for recreational vehicles since late 2025, driven by cost of living pressures and broader economic uncertainty, has had a significant effect on trading performance,” Micheletto said.

“This was compounded by internal operational challenges following changes in senior management over the past 12 months.”

Earlier this year former Chief Operating Officer Jim Moutsias took Network RV to the Fair Work Commission for an unfair dismissal claim.

Minimal customer losses

According to reports the Network RV group went into administration in mid-June owing approximately $30 million, including $12 million to trade creditors, $3 million to the ATO, around $10 million to a financier and $1.5 million in employee entitlements.

Micheletto said customer losses are expected to be minimal

“There are minimal outstanding customer deposits, and we expect little to no loss to retail customers,” he said.

The businesses and assets are being offered for sale via an expression of interest process that closes at 5pm on July 6. Interested parties can contact Gillian Wright at SV Partners on 03 9669 1100.
