A popular beachside caravan park on NSW’s Tweed coast has re-opened after a multi-million dollar re-development.
The first guests arrived at the revamped Kingscliff Beach holiday park this week after completion of an extensive 14-month redevelopment of the foreshore; all part of the $21.2 million Kingscliff Foreshore Revitalisation project.
A member of the Tweed Coast Holiday Parks chain, the Kingscliff park is now offering holiday-makers the latest modern facilities, with various accommodation options including beachfront powered sites, luxury cabins, ensuite sites and tent sites with synthetic grass.

Tweed Coast Holiday Parks contributed $7.5 million to the funding of the revitalisation project, which included works on the Kingscliff Foreshore and the creation of a new community park space connecting the town centre to the beach.
“The park has really come to life now, it has a nice feel to it and we can’t wait for our guests to come and make lasting memories here,” Tweed Coast Holiday Parks' Unit Coordinator Andrew Illingworth, said.
“The sites are spacious, the cabins are luxurious and the new park complements the recently refurbished Kingscliff North park, giving holiday-makers plenty of accommodation options to choose from."

Other facilities at the beachfront getaway include a spacious new camp kitchen, BBQ areas, amenities blocks and plenty of green space. The upmarket cabins were decorated by Tailored Space Interiors.
Illingworth said bookings have been coming in thick and fast since a new online booking system was introduced last month, “with the entire park filling up over peak periods within minutes”.
Just metres from the sand, the premium-priced park has 24 powered sites, 12 ensuite sites and nine tent sites. To make a booking, click here.
