Redarc wins Good Design Award

RV innovators recognized at premier design awards

Redarc, OzTent, Rhino-Rack and MaxTrax are among the RV-related winners at this year’s Good Design Awards.

South Australian mobile electronics manufacturer Redarc was a Good Design Award Winner for its new RedVision  total vehicle management system.

RedVision allows users to control multiple on-board devices, such as turning lights, inverter, water pumps and other loads including TVs, electric steps and fridges through the in-vehicle display or via their smartphone through an app. It's available as factory fit on caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes.

The Good Design Awards Jury described Redarc's smart technology as a “Great overall product".

“This is a clean integrated solution that is reliable and robust. Clever interface that is super simple to use and operate.

Other camping-related winners at the 2018 Good Design Awards included  MaxTrax Extreme off-road recovery planks, Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning and the ’30 second’ RS-1 tent swag and HotSpot camp chair warmer from OzTent.

The Australian Good Design Awards are conducted annually and recognise outstanding design and innovation among a range of industry sectors. This year 260 of the 536 entrants picked up a Good Design award.
