Redarc solar blanket

Redarc releases new flexible, portable solar blanket and accessories range
South Australian manufacturer Redarc has released a range of solar blankets and accessories that according to the RV electrical specialist “heralds a new era in charging 12v batteries from solar power”.
The new range includes three black 'Sunpower Cells' Solar Blankets in 115, 150 and 190 watt power ratings, and a flexible 112 watt red 'Amorphous Cell' Solar Blanket.
Redarc says the portable products are smaller, lighter, more efficient and durable than a comparable wattage portable glass panel. They also include genuine industry standard Anderson SB 50 plug connectors (10, 20 and 30 amp models) allowing for easier ‘plug and play’ installation.
The connectors are available in lengths from 1.5m to 10m so you can park your caravan under the shade and still get the most out of the sun. They also work with Redarc’s BCDC and battery management systems.
Redarc also has a new solar monitor with 3in back lit LED display that allows you to monitor the solar panels, battery and system information, and connects to a new range of Redarc solar regulators.

Prices for the solar blankets range from around $1200 to $2300.
