Redarc has released a new range of lithium batteries for recreational vehicles, which the South Australian RV electronics specialist says delivers "next-level off-grid power built to thrive in the harshest conditions".
Available in 100Ah, 200Ah, and 300Ah models, the new RedLab Icon 12V LiFePO4 battery range boasts rugged IP67-rated construction, 100 per cent usable capacity, and advanced safety systems certified to international standards, according to Redarc.
Other stand-out features include 6000-plus charge cycles, a "massive" continuous discharge capability, and a built-in state of charge display.
The new Redarc RedLab batteries are series and parallel compatible, and also get a heated battery management system (BMS) for better performance in colder conditions. Also included is an integrated isolation switch, while they're also certified to the latest IEC 62619:2022 global lithium safety standards.
"We pushed these batteries through some of the harshest testing in Australia to make sure they’re as tough, safe, and as reliable as the Redarc name promises," Redarc Electronics' Product Manager Albert Atkins said.
The RedLab Icon lithium batteries are priced from $1499 to $3699, on the Redarc website. Also available from Redarc are purpose-built battery trays, priced from $59.
