South Australian manufacturer Redarc, which is a major supplier of battery power-related electronic products to the Australian RV manufacturing industry, will exhibit for the first time at this year’s Caravan Salon in Dusseldorf, Germany from August 26 to September 4.
It’s part of a big push into major overseas markets for the privately-owned company, which also plans to exhibit later this year at the Las Vegas-held SEMA, one of the biggest automotive specialty trade events in the world.
Redarc Export Manager, Craig Herriot said Germany’s Caravan Salon “is the place to be for any exhibitor wanting to present their technical innovations and establish trends in the European Recreational Vehicle industry”.
“This is a great opportunity for Redarc to showcase its expertise in caravan and campervan autonomy in the European market," he said.
However, they won’t be the first Australian RV accessories company to exhibit at the European supershow, with evaporative portable cooling manufacturer Transcool also
trying its luck recently.
The Adelaide-based Redarc, which bought Hummingbird Electronics in 2015 and boasts approximately 120 staff and an estimated turnover of more than $30 million, should be joined by a number of Australian companies at this year’s SEMA show including 4x4 accessories brand ARB, and
possibly Queensland’s Patriot Campers.
