Somerton, Victoria retail outlet Melbourne City Caravans has added a new upmarket caravan brand to its growing range of Campbellfield, Victoria built caravans.
Already the Victorian dealer for Salute Caravans. MCC’s new Provincial ‘house’ brand promises “affordable luxury” from an initial two model line-up.

Currently on display at MCC’s Cooper Street, Somerton showrom is a semi off-road 22ft Provincial Estate family caravan and similar-size Senator off-road couple’s van.
Accommodating up to six people, the 22ft Estate delivers an apartment-style layout including front master bedroom with north-south queen bed, central kitchen and L-shape lounge/dinette, and two or three bunks along the rear wall.

Separating the master bedroom from the main living/kids' area is a full-width ensuite including separate shower and toilet, with solid sliding doors on both sides.
The 22ft Provincial Senator delivers a similar front bedroom/full width ensuite layout up front, but with a larger kitchen area and club lounge instead of bunks towards the rear. The club lounge converts to a guest bed to create an extra berth as required.

Both Provincial models come standard with a long list of features including electronic sway control, a reversing camera, 24in TV and audio system, washing machine, and external extertainment hatch; while the top-spec Senator gets a few extras including three external picnic tables and Redarc's Manager30 battery management system.
An innerspring pillowtop mattress and full-height upholstered bedhead, leatherette or leather lounge, filtered water and the choice of chrome or matte black high-rise sink mixer, also add to the upmarket feel of both caravans.

As is the case with the Salute vans, Provincial buyers can choose from an 185 litre three-way or 190 litre compressor fridge, three grades of suspension, three body shapes (modern/angled, retro/rounded or traditional), and a variety of interior and external colour schemes.
The Provincial vans are built with Duragal chassis and timber frame with smooth aluminium composite cladding, and also come equipped for off-grid camping with 190 litres fresh (and 95 litres grey) water capacity, two 120Ah AGM batteries and two 150W solar panels fitted as standard.

Tare weights are around the 2800-2900kg mark, with 240-250 (Tare) ball weights and 3500kg ATM ratings, to deliver payloads of up to 700kg.
Victorian drive-away pricing ranges from $71,990 (Estate) to $80,990 (Senator), with the backing of a five year extended warranty.

“Our vision with Provincial Caravans was to create a prestige, exclusive, up-market range of caravans that would appeal to people’s refined tastes – with the quality and finishes to back it up,” explained MCC co-owner Cettina Bazzacco.
“The Provincial range we feel is comparative to many of the high-end brands on the market, but considerably more affordable," she said.

“The Roman theme is a throwback to our Italian heritage,”
She said the plan is to add more models to the Provincial range in the near future. Click here for further details.
