Price rise for LDV factory campervan

2026 updates coincide with $13grand price jump for factory-backed Chinese campervan

LDV Australia has given its first factory-built campervan a freshen up for 2026, including adding a new cabin configuration, although it comes at a cost.

The Series 2 LDV Deliver 9 campervan is now available in both four-seat (with east-west bed) and new two-seat configurations, priced from $102,990 drive-away. That's a $13,000 jump on the initial launch price of $89,990 driveaway in 2025.

However, LDV Australia says the Series 2 model is now based on the updated Deliver 9 long wheelbase high roof van, which gets a new grille and 12.3in infotainment screen, and an upgraded (128kW/420Nm) turbo-diesel engine with new eight speed automatic transmission with gear selector wand on the steering column and paddle shifters.

LDV says the new two-seater arrangement allows room for a bigger north-south bed at the back, as well as more lounging space when it's not being used for sleeping.

Other changes include relocating ancillaries such as the water outlets, external shower port, and the grey water exit to the driver’s side of the vehicle.

An updated four-seat model – which retains the original ‘east-west’ bed layout – will be priced from $104,990 drive-away and is expected to arrive in local showrooms later this year.

Standard features on the 5.94m long, two-seat LDV Series 2 Campervan include a 22in Smart TV, 90L fridge/freezer, microwave, combination shower/toilet, external shower, air-conditioner, sink with mixer tap, induction cooktop, electric entry step, roll-out awing and inside/outside LED lighting.

It also gets swivelling front seats, a sliding flyscreen door and new sliding side windows, plus a 2.56kWh lithium house battery with 190W solar panel and 2000W inverter, and 100L fresh and 100L grey water tanks.

“We have been blown away by the response to the original LDV Deliver 9 Campervan, which is why we have introduced a suite of comprehensive updates for 2026,” said LDV Australia General Manager, Dinesh Chinnappa.

“In addition to basing the latest iteration of our Campervan on the updated LDV Deliver 9 – with all the benefits that brings – we took this opportunity to make some improvements to the equipment and cabin layout, to create a more flexible living space."

Despite the price hike, the LDV Deliver 9 Campervan is still one of Australia's cheapest turn-key ensuite campervans. It's a smidge more than Jayco's locally-converted Renault Master-based JRV campervan (priced from $101,490 drive-away) but significantly less than the ($109,990 drive-away) Snowy River SRV-19 which is also based on the Chinese-built LDV Deliver 9 and like the factory LDV, is fitted out as a camper in China.

The LDV factory campervan is covered by a seven years/200,000km warranty for the vehicle, a two years/unlimited kms warranty for bodywork/furniture, and a one-year/unlimited km warranty for electrical components. It also comes with three years' roadside assistance.
