Premium Kingscliff Beach park wins awards

Multi-million dollar Tweed Heads park scoops trophies at industry awards night

A freshly refurbished caravan park along NSW’s picturesque Tweed Coast, that charges up to $90 for a powered site, has sweeped the major awards at NSW's biggest RV industry awards night.

Tweed Coast Holiday Parks Kingscliff Beach, which underwent a major 14-month $7.5 million redevelopment recently, took home the ‘Best of the Best NSW Holiday Park’ and the ‘Best Holiday Park North Coast’ awards at the 2018 Caravan and Camping Industry Association (CCIA) NSW Awards of Excellence.

Kingscliff Beach park in Tweed Heads won two awards

Located just metres from the shoreline and close to café and boutique shops, the Kingscliff Beach park boasts immaculate grass and concrete sites, along with modern facilities including a spacious camp kitchen, BBQ areas, and amenities block. The park also recently introduced an online booking system as part of the makeover.

“This is a huge honour and achievement for the Tweed Coast Holiday Parks brand and to the Kingscliff Beach Park itself, it wouldn’t have been possible without all the hard work that the entire team has put into getting this park off the ground after the recent redevelopment.” Park Manager, Brooke McKenzie said.

Smarttek portable hot water systems picked up Best Industry Product Provider award

Also recognized at the NSW industry awards night was Suncamper (Best of the Best - Trade and Best NSW Manufacturer - Motorhomes, Campervans & 5th Wheelers), Ballina Campervans, Motorhomes and Caravans (Best NSW Dealer/Retailer/Wholesaler –Regional), All About Caravan Repairs Pty Ltd and Coastal Caravan Clinic (joint winners of Best Recreation Vehicle Repairer), and Smarttek (Best Industry Product Provider).

Other caravan park category winners included BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Soldiers Point, BIG4 Karuah Jetty Holiday Park, Reflections Holiday Parks Burrinjuck Waters, Mittagong Caravan Park, BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Broulee and Kings Point Retreat, Ulladulla.
