Power up before you head out: BLUETTI's EOFY Sale is the window to go properly off-grid

Winter is peak caravanning season in Australia, and the BLUETTI Elite 300 is the power setup worth getting sorted before you leave the driveway

Ask anyone who's done a serious lap of the country and they'll tell you the same thing: modern camping demands modern power. The fridge needs to run through the night. The coffee machine needs to fire up at dawn. The CPAP machine can't miss a beat. And none of it should depend on whether you remembered to top up the generator before leaving camp.

That's the problem BLUETTI has been solving for Australian travellers, and with the brand's EOFY Sale running June 1–30, there's now a strong financial case to match the practical one.

What the Elite 300 actually delivers

Officially certified by Frost & Sullivan as the World's Smallest 3kWh Portable Power Station, BLUETTI's flagship Elite 300 best represents what the brand is doing in the Australian market – and will be available at one of its biggest discounts of the year during EOFY. It packs 3,014 watt-hours of capacity into a body that weighs just 26.3kg – roughly 2kg heavier than a standard 2kWh unit. That ratio matters enormously when you're loading and unloading a caravan, motorhome, or ute tray on the road, and it's what sets the Elite 300 apart in a 3kWh class where most alternatives are significantly bulkier.

Continuous output sits at 2,400W, with a Power Lifting mode that pushes to 4,800W for high-draw appliances that would otherwise trip a smaller unit. In practical terms, that's enough to run a camping fridge, induction cooktop, coffee machine, LED lighting, and multiple devices simultaneously — the kind of real-world load that entry-level portable batteries simply can't handle.

Charging flexibility is equally well considered. AC fast charging delivers 80 per cent capacity in 1.6 hours via a 2,300W input, while up to 1,200W of solar input keeps the unit topped up on driving days or at sun-exposed campsites. Combine AC and solar simultaneously and the AC + DC combined input pushes to 2,400W, significantly shortening recharge windows between stops.

There's a dedicated 12V/30A DC port for caravan onboard systems — water pumps, diesel heaters, lighting rigs — that many competitors at this price point don't offer. Eight ports in total cover two AC outlets, two USB-A, two USB-C (100W and 140W), a cigarette lighter socket, and that 12V/30A output, meaning virtually every device in a well-equipped camp setup has a home.

The LFePO4 battery is rated for 6,000 cycles to 80 per cent capacity, backed by a five-year warranty. Over years of regular charging and discharging on the road, that longevity matters in a way that cheaper alternatives with shorter cycle ratings simply don't match.

Smart enough to manage itself

The BLUETTI app connects via both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and goes well beyond basic monitoring. The Timer Switch function lets you schedule devices to turn on or off automatically — useful for pre-cooling a van before you arrive at camp, keeping a CPAP machine on a reliable overnight schedule, or managing power draw across a long off-grid day.

The 10ms UPS switching time also means the Elite 300 doubles as a capable home backup unit when you're not travelling, protecting essential equipment from blackouts during storm season. That dual-use value is something most camping-specific batteries can't offer.

Start with a unit. Build a system.

One of the stronger arguments for BLUETTI over single-purpose competitors is the ecosystem. The Elite 300 is a starting point, not a ceiling. BLUETTI's range of compatible solar panels – from 60W panels up to the 500W Sora – can be added over time to extend off-grid capability. The Charger 1 and Charger 2 accessories provide faster vehicle charging for travellers who cover long distances between solar opportunities.

For caravanners still figuring out what their full off-grid setup looks like, that scalability removes much of the risk from the initial investment. You're not locked into one configuration, and you're not starting again when the rig evolves.

What's on sale and when

The standalone Elite 300 is priced at AU$2,499 during the EOFY Sale. For those ready to commit to a more complete setup, bundles offer some of the best value on the site: the Elite 300 plus Charger 2 is AU$2,999 (down from AU$3,799), and the Elite 300 with a 500W solar panel is AU$3,499 — a saving of AU$1,399 on the regular price. The month-long promotion combines sitewide discounts with additional tiered savings: AU$80 off orders over AU$1,500, AU$135 off orders over AU$2,500, and AU$240 off purchases above AU$4,000.

The sale closes June 30. Shop the full range at bluettipower.com.au. Use our exclusive discount code CARSALES5 for 5% OFF across all BLUETTI products. This can also be stacked on top of current EOFY sale pricing for even greater savings.
