Flexible, portable storage and delivery system for grey nomadsWith more RV travellers downsizing, or swapping a fixed address for a permanent life on the road, being able to affordably move and store personal and household goods becomes increasingly important.
After being a pioneer of the portable storage industry in the USA, the PODS portable container system is now available in Australia as a more convenient, and often cheaper alternative to more traditional, same-day removal services.
Delivered direct to your driveway, the steel, weather-resistant PODS containers come in three different sizes to suit different requirements.
Customers do their own packing and loading, on ground level and in their own time, or professional packers can be arranged to do the work.
When finished, the truck returns and moves the container across town or interstate. Customers also take as long as they like at the new address to unpack the container, or can choose to leave some items for storage in a long-term facility until required.
Each container has a lock for security, with the keys only held by the customer, and the trucks use special hydraulic lifters to help keep the container level at all times.
As well as moving house or office, the PODS can be used to ‘de-clutter’ a home, during renovations or ‘emergency’ situations, or for organisations or schools running special events.
Pricing starts at $155 per month, plus delivery costs, and contents protection is available if required.
