The second big capital city, caravan 'Supershow' is coming to town next week, and it's promising to be a good one with quite a few new brands and fresh products exhibiting at the 2024 NSW Caravan Camping Holiday Supershow in Sydney.
Among the newer RV brands on display at Rosehill Racecourse this year include Gibb River Caravans, which is one of around seven caravan brands currently manufactured at the Melbourne factory of Network RV and will be part of the Fair Dinkum Caravans dealer display.
Also appearing at the Sydney Supershow for the first time will be Chinese-Australian EV caravan start-up, Harvok RV, thanks to its recently appointed Harvok NSW outlet, along with the Earth off-road camper released by ARB last year.
Kimberley Kampers is also unveiling its just-announced new entry-level Kube micro-camper, with a starting Tare weight of 1110kg and priced from $68,825.
Also certain to catch plenty of eye balls at the show is the unique lightweight Turkish-built caravans from Carpento which will be on display on the Carlight stand, while those looking for a premium slide-on ute camper will be able to peruse the latest range of Thai-built models from Melbourne-based Ute Cabin.
Available to fit a range of utes and pick-ups, the new Ute Cabin slide-on campers stand out from the crowd with slide-out rooms available on the top-spec models.
Suncamper will also be unveiling a refreshed 2025 range of off-road campervans and motorhomes, including the latest version of its Conqueror off-roader.
"This new range is a refinement of our most popular models, equipped with more extras as standard, fresh new colour waves and construction materials. Furthermore, our flagship, the Sherwood Conqueror, has undergone a massive facelift, further extending itself as Australia's most capable 4x4 compact motorhome, and something you need to see to believe," the long-standing Sydney company said in a pre-event email.
Meanwhile, some of the biggest Australian RV brands are also expected to have their latest 2024 models on display include Jayco with its latest olive green off-roaders, Supreme and its latest off-grid toy hauler, and the new multi-model range from Snowy River.
As far as new accessories and products go, showgoers will also be able to get up close and personal with the latest Compo Closet Cuddy portable composting toilet which retails for around $1500.
Now in its 55th year, the 2024 NSW Caravan Supershow will bring together more than 250 exhibitors displaying thousands of products, and the organisers are expecting another big turn-out.
"This year's event is being held during the NSW school holidays, making it the perfect school holiday destination for all the family," Caravan and Camping Industry Association (NSW) chief executive Lyndel Gray said. "We expect to welcome over 50,000 people through the gates over the six-day event."
Other highlights of the show include daily talks by 'Mr 4x4' Pat Callinan and other industry experts, a live band in the beer garden and, for the kids, a Pop up Ingenia Holiday Park, Spotto Kids Zone and Toddler Zone, a Petting zoo and Jumping castle.
Tickets are available online or at the gate for the dog-friendly show, with free onsite parking and free shuttle buses departing every half hour from Parramatta Train Station and Ferry Wharf.
