While many Australian RV brands have played a part in locally-produced travel and lifestyle shows, it’s believed the new 12-part ‘Patriot Games’ reality series is the first TV show shot and produced by an Australian RV manufacturer.
The series includes footage taken of various off-road adventures conducted by the Patriot Campers’ crew in recent times, including a trip to Cape York in Queensland and a part-holiday, part-business trip to the US, including a road trip from Indiana to the Moab Jeep Safari in Utah.
One of the episodes also focuses on Patriot Campers’ boss Justin Montesalvo while he's competing at the Finke Desert Race in an off-road buggy, while the final episode promises a glimpse of a “top-secret off-road vehicle build” inside Patriot’s Gold Coast factory, that’s set to be unveiled at the Melbourne 4x4 Show.
While some of the footage has already been shown on Patriot’s website, the Queensland manufacturer says it will have a fresh look thanks to it being “completely re-edited with a new soundtrack, voice-over and new perspectives from old characters filmed recently in 2017”.
Patriot Campers says it’s already planning for a second season of Patriot Games which will be a “reality series based around the production floor at one of the most exciting and dynamic manufacturers in Australia”.
