Described as a “dedicated day tripper” the new TH470 trailer is priced from $25,990, or less than half the higher-specced TH560.
For the money, you get the same quality construction and 3x2m deck as its bigger brother, but instead of the camper box up front there’s just a “roomy compartment that will fit all your gear and more”, says Patriot.
The TH470 is 4.7m long, 2.0m wide and 1.5m wide, and has a Tare of 710kg, ATM of 2000kg, and 350mm ground clearance.
It rides on a galvanised chassis with coil independent dual shock suspension, DO-35 hitch, 12in electric brakes, and 285/75 R16 mud terrain tyres.
“While it doesn't feature all the comforts of home that the X1 or TH610 proudly flaunt, it certainly has enough to impress your mates with a 70L water tank, room for a 60L fridge and long-lasting 120AH battery with Redarc DC to DC charger as standard,” the fast-growing Queensland manufacturer says on its website.
“Go-anywhere 33in tyres and a payload of a whopping 1290kg mean you can cart your watercraft, dirt bikes, quads or ATVs into the roughest terrain and inbuilt ramps allow you to easily load and unload your weekend toys.”
Established in 2013, the Gold Coast-based business has now unveiled five Patriot-branded products including the compact X1 camper, two toy haulers, a trick tray conversion and hi-tech slide-on camper.
