Melbourne's Nova is celebrating two decades of caravan manufacturing in 2026, and to mark the occasion it's released a significantly updated MY26 line-up of hardtop touring and off-road caravans.
"As part of its 20 year celebrations, Nova Caravans is proud to unveil an exciting range of new 2026 model layouts, including expanded family options and enhanced off-road capabilities across key ranges," Nova Caravans' National Marketing Manager Nicole Shaddock explained.

For 2026, Nova's off-road-oriented Bravo range gets new couple as well as more family-friendly bunk layouts. The MY26 Bravo 'vans also feature an upgraded off-grid package including a 300Ah lithium battery system with 600W rooftop solar and a 3000W inverter, to go with twin 95L fresh/single 110L grey, water tanks, and independent coil suspension.
The new premium power systems are supplied by Arizon, while all MY26 Nova caravan layouts also benefit from updated interior colour palettes and fresh finishes.
"These new layouts reflect Nova’s commitment to evolving with Australian travellers; delivering practical functionality, premium finishes and true off-road capability straight from the factory," Shaddock said.

Founded by Robert Cataldo who still heads up the business, Nova started off in a small rented shed in 2006 and built just 33 caravans in its first year.
Subsequent growth saw the business move into a purpose-built 3000sqm factory in Campbellfield, Victoria in 2013, where it currently builds four key models. All feature frameless, composite sandwich panel construction, from the entry-level, circa $70-80K Revivor, to the ($150K-plus) full off-road/off-grid Terra Sportz and 20ft-plus Pride Platinum ECX48V luxury tourer.

Often a front runner in adopting the latest trends, Nova was among the first Aussie RV manufacturers to introduce accredited industry training; not to mention RV wi-fi, digital nomad-friendly layouts, and even an LP gas-powered generator at one stage.
The Melbourne caravan manufacturer has picked up three CTIAV Caravan & RV Manufacturer of the Year awards (2017, 2018, 2023) from the peak Victorian industry body, and also builds campervans under contract for Sydney-based Emu RV.

Nova was also one of the first to sign up for the Caravan Industry Victoria's RV Master accreditation program, and gained plenty of fans in 2024 when it gave away a 'van to one of the victims of the Tango Caravans collapse.
"For 20 years, Nova has remained dedicated to its core philosophy — Built Here. Backed Here. — ensuring every caravan is designed for Australian conditions and supported by a team that stands firmly behind every 'van," Shaddock said.

Nova will be popping the champagne corks at a special invite-only 20th Anniversary event at the 2026 Victorian Caravan & Camping Supershow later this month.
